High water at Triple Falls in the Spring.

Camp Orr

Located near Jasper, Arkansas, Camp Orr hosts our summer camp each June and Twin Falls — A tourist attraction with a short hike to a waterfall near the entrance to camp property. The elevation of Camp Orr is only 968 feet with an Antenna Pine Hike of roughly 1000 feet with an amazing view of the Ozarks. Camp Orr is one of the only BSA camps surrounded completely by the National Parks Service. Each year, The scouting Honor Society works to maintain a partnership with the service by clearing adopted trails and preserving the property with a conservation mindset. Available activities include swimming and canoeing in the Buffalo River, Climbing and Rappelling a climbing tower and natural rock sites, backpacking, camping, and shooting sports. Facilities include a Dining Hall, several platform campsites, Trading Post, and two shower houses with bathrooms. Many visitors have said it is a treasure that anyone who wants to feel more connected to the outdoors should explore.

Rogers Scout Reservation

About 45 minutes away from Fort Smith, Rogers Scout Reservation (RSR) is a camp that holds many Cub Scout events around Keenan Lake. Available to all Scouting members for free, if no facilities are used, and for a small cost for non-BSA members, RSR is an amazing weekend get-away. Available Facilities include a 250 person Dining Hall, Trading Post, Training Lodge, Shower Houses, and Boating Area. There is also a Landship (Pirate Ship) and Fort Flanders. This camp is a great place for beginner camping experiences and has many connecting trails to create a short backpacking trek.

Camp Spencer

This camp is a primitive camping destination that is located on beautiful Lake Norfork, east of Mountain Home. Camp Spencer is a 100-acre peninsula, and has been dedicated to Scouting activities, like water activities and lake-front camping. With almost 1 1/2 mile of shoreline available for fishing and exploring, Camp Spencer is utilized for unit camping for both Scouts BSA and Cub Scouts, day training for leaders, campfire ceremonies and day trips. Facilities include a ceremonial amphitheater, pavilion, fire rings, tables, and pit toilet latrines. To make reservations, please contact Jessica Worman 870-421-6980.
